About Charles Lane

Charles has been photographing since the age of 5. He started on a Kodak 110 and has used pretty much everything else since. He currently uses Hasselblad H4D, Nikon and Lumix Kit

Charles turned pro in 2005 after forays into games testing and IT consultancy.

This summer Charles will be completing his Membership portfolio for the Master Photographer’s Association.

Charles’ passion for photography can be summed up as thus:

“What fascinates me about photography is the moment the shutter fires.

You have stopped time and you are left with a perfect record of that smallest of moments. Time may have stopped but the record lives on.”

Charles is currently based in Tring, Hertfordshire but can often be found photographing models in fields or up a mountain in Spain.
